Growing up on Long Island, New York meant being in the center of the excitement of drag racing. I would go to the races at the Westhampton Drag Strip as often as possible. It was at this very same strip I would, as a teenager try my hand at the sport I love racing my stock 1954 Ford. But my lack of success on the strip has never diminished my love for the sights, sounds and smells of the sport.
